The fluid flow of the mind is one of the new and common narrative methods in stories. This technique is very imperative because it shows the mind of the narrator and the characters of the novel. Origami, or the art of paper folding, and origami dates back to 2000 years ago. This art has been used as a game and entertainment in the past, and mainly by folding pieces of paper, it provides the possibility of creating volumetric works and forms; Today, this art has gone beyond the traditional boundaries and contemporary artists have moved it towards conceptual and applicable art. The story of " Forgetfulness Realized It " is one of the works written by the contemporary Jordanian writer Sana Shaalan from the Arab novelty generation with the technique of fluid flow of the mind, and it narrates the problems and sufferings that the contemporary society is struggling with.
This story has thirty chapters, at the beginning of each chapter, a star origami is given. In this article, by using the descriptive-analytical method, the fluid flow of the mind in the elementary origamis of every forgetfulness based on the theory of William James will be investigated. And the results show that it is possible to use topics such as inner monologue, lyricism, association, going back to the past, common audience, hadith of the self, symbol and time according to the psychological topics of William James to reflect the mental problems of the characters in the story of Sanaa Shaalan.
