Chaos theory, first proposed by Edward Lawrence, considers nonlinear and dynamic systems and offers an effective conceptual framework for complex and unpredictable phenomena. Literary researchers emphasize that no literary text is free from chaos. They have used chaos theory in the analysis of literary works and have concluded that the more chaos there is in a text, the more information it produces. The novel "Wadi Al-Farashaat" effectively utilizes components of chaos theory such as uncertainty, nonlinearity, butterfly effect, and fractal structures. The content processing method in this research is based on a descriptive-analytical approach. The main character in this contemporary work follows a pattern of "chaotic behaviors" in which actions and reactions do not follow predictable linear causal patterns in time and space. "Wadi Al-Farashaat" focuses on the process of social and political chaos in addition to reflecting the unstable situation and social and psychological crises.
