Fantasy is one of the most prominent literary genres that blends reality with imagination, aiming to create parallel worlds and extraordinary situations that reflect human issues in innovative ways. Fantasy relies on creativity and innovation in presenting its narrative elements, whether through supernatural characters, unusual events, or magical realms that transport the reader to spaces beyond reality. In this context, the story "The Man with the Golden Heart" by the Jordanian writer Sanaa Shalan serves as a remarkable example of fantasy literature, combining moral depth with captivating imagination. This study aims in a descriptive-analytical style to highlight the manifestations of fantasy in the story, starting with characters endowed with supernatural traits, moving through magical places and events, and finally exploring the symbolism that turns the story into a mirror of moral and social values. Furthermore, the study will examine how the author employs fantasy elements to convey a message that transcends mere entertainment, opening horizons for ethical and human reflection. The study concluded that fantasy in this story is not merely an element of entertainment, but rather an effective tool for conveying sublime human values. It enables the reader to understand the relationship between heroism, sacrifice, and the symbolic restoration of light and hope, illustrating that confronting darkness and evil requires courage, wisdom, and self-sacrifice. Thus, the story emerges as a mirror of moral and social values, all while maintaining the excitement and allure of its fantastical world.
