They are characterized by narrative components and elements that encompass multiple functions. Due to the novel&amp;#39;s possession of these components and functions, it has occupied a significant space for research and study, surpassing other literary genres despite their earlier historical emergence. The character in the novel is the most studied and theorized element due to the dynamism it adds to the events and its complete control over the other elements of the novel. The French researcher Greimas introduced a narrative model for analysis, dividing the narrative structure into three axes based on its relationships and distributing character roles into six actants that drive the novel&amp;#39;s events, derived from the functions of the narrative structure. The Greimasian actantial model has thus become a tool for applying literary texts.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

This will be done by projecting the narrative actants and their three axes onto the text of the novel, in accordance with Greimas&amp;#39; theory in the actantial program. The goal is to understand the truths that lead us to the subject of the novel and the motivations that drive the characters within it, identifying the actants based on the roles the characters play in the novel&amp;#39;s text. Among the most important findings of this research is that the novelist Sa&amp;iuml;d Khatibi skillfully succeeded in distributing roles within his novel, utilizing the actantial model. This was clearly reflected in the narrative space of the novel, which appeared organized and coherent due to the transformations brought about by the various characters within the narrative text. Each character in the novel played a vital role in advancing the events, adding depth and dynamism to the text. In this manner, Khatibi was able to present a complete literary work, where roles and characters seamlessly intertwined to create an engaging narrative rich in dramatic transformations. This strategy of role distribution according to the actantial model significantly contributed to enhancing the novel&amp;#39;s plot, making it more cohesive and intriguing.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
