دراسة المفارقة الزمنية في رواية "ستائر العتمة" على ضوء نظرية الترتيب الزمني لجيرار جنیت

المستخلص
تتبنى الروايات عادةً بنية زمنية خطية، غير أنها كثيراً ما تشهد تغيّرات زمنية تُعرف اصطلاحاً بـ«المفارقات الزمنية» وفق التصنيف الذي وضعه المنظّر البنيوي الفرنسي، جيرار جنيت. تشكّل رواية «ستائر العتمة» للكاتب وليد الهودلي نموذجاً بارزاً لهذه الظاهرة، حيث تعرض الرواية تسعين يومًا من حياة البطل «عامر» في سجون الاحتلال الصهيوني مع تركيز خاص على الدور المحوري للزمن في تعميق تصديق القارئ للشخصية الرئيسة وسماتها النفسية. تتميز هذه الرواية بتعاملها الإبداعي مع الثالوث الزمني (الماضي، الحاضر، المستقبل) عبر تحوّلات زمنية متكررة، مما يجعلها مادة خصبة للتطبيق النظري لمقولات جنيت في السرد الزمني. إذن تهدف هذه الدراسة معتمدة على المنهج الوصفي-التحليلي إلى دراسة المفارقات الزمنية في هذه الرواية انطلاقاً من التصنيف الثلاثي الذي وضعه جنيت (النظام، المدة، التكرار). تؤكد نتائج الدراسة أن رواية «ستائر العتمة» تمثل نموذجاً إبداعياً لتوظيف المفارقات الزمنية وفق نظرية جينت. حيث انتهج وليد الهودلي استراتيجية واضحة في كسر التسلسل الزمني التقليدي من خلال الاستخدام المكثف لتقنيتي الاسترجاع (الفلاش باك) والاستباق (الفلاش فوروارد). وقد أسهم هذا التوظيف في تحقيق أبعاد دلالية ونفسية عميقة، لم تقتصر على تعميق فهم الشخصيات، بل نقلت تجربة القارئ من مستوى التلقي السطحي إلى مستوى التأمل الفلسفي في مفهوم الزمن وتأثيره على التجربة الإنسانية.

In novels, time often follows a linear progression. However, at times, a kind of temporal disorder

emerges in the narrative time, which Gérard Genette, the French structuralist theorist, has termed “anachrony”. The novel Sutoor al-Atmah (Lines of Darkness) by Walid al-Hodali presents a tumultuous ninety-day perspective of Amer (the story’s protagonist) in the dungeons of Zionism, where the element of time plays a significant role in shaping the reader's perception of the main character's believable life, psyche, and traits. The story of Sutoor al-Atmah engages with a disruption of the three temporal dimensions (past, present, future) and, given its numerous temporal shifts, aligns well with Gérard Genette's theory of narrative time. Therefore, the present study examines anachrony in this novel based on Genette's concepts of temporal order and sequence, using a descriptive-analytical method. This study finds that the novel corresponds with Genette’s theory of anachrony. Walid al-Hodali frequently disrupts the linear order and sequence of the narrative, employing various forms of analepsis (flashbacks) and prolepsis (flashforwards) within the narrative text. This enriches the characters and events with greater depth and complexity. In addition to aiding in the emotional understanding of the characters, these temporal distortions transform the reading experience into a deeper reflection on the concept of time and how it influences human experiences.
