التاريخانية الجديدة مقاربة نقدية ظهرت کرد فعل ضد التیارات السیاقية والتاریخانية القدیمة. التاریخانیون الجدد یعتبرون التاريخ مجموعة من الخطابات المتصارعة ویهتمون بالأصوات المهمشة والخطابات الغائبة عن السلطة ویعتقدون بأنّ المؤرخین لایسجلون الأحداث التاریخية بعینها بل یکتبون تفاسیرهم وروایاتهم لتلک الأحداث متأثرین بخطاباتهم. فالتاريخ ذو ماهية خطابية ويعتبر نوعاً من السرد. رواية دروز بلغراد حکاية حنا یعقوب؛ هي رواية تاريخية للروائي اللبناني ربیع جابر وقد نال الجائزة العالمية للرواية العربية عام 2011م. يهدف المقال إلی دراسة هذه الرواية وفق التاریخانية الحدیثة؛ لدراسة العلاقات بین الرواية وصراع الخطابات التاریخية فیها. تفید الدراسة بأنّ الرواية تصف ستة خطابات في أواخر حیاة الإمبراطورية العثمانية: خطاب الحکم العثماني، خطاب الدول الأوروبية، خطاب انفصال البلقان، خطاب المحابیس الدروز، خطاب اللبنانیین المسیحیین وخطاب الرعایا المسلمین فی بلقان. و ترکز الرواية علی الخطابات المهمشة والغائبة عن السلطة: ضحایا العنف الطائفي والظلم الحکومي وممثلوهم في رواية المحابیس الدروز من جهة وحنا یعقوب وأسرته من جهة أخری. حاولت الرواية أن تعرض صورة إیجابية للمحابیس الدروز المنفیین إلی بلقان علی العکس من الخطاب الرسمي للحکم العثماني.
